Specially drawn for this work by Geoffrey Williams.
It may be said that of all aristocratic dogs the Borzoi is outstanding as the very embodiment of graceful beauty. He is the most handsome of the "Greyhound" breed. Two distinct types of head are seen to-day, the old style Russian, and the modern, which is the result of the breeder's art. It is a matter of opinion as to which is the more handsome. Mr. Williams depicts a Borzoi after a hard run, showing fine lines and charming expression. Reprinted from Hutchinson's Dog Encyclopaedia (England, circa 1935)
Prints black and white, 8.5x11 available. $20 + $5 s&h ($15 outside the U.S.)
